Terms & Conditions
General Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to all treatments and agreements between The Art of Acupuncture Beata Nowakowska and the patient, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Appointments and Cancellations
Appointments can be made via phone, WhatsApp, email, and the website.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or missed appointments, will be charged at 100% of the session rate. Please note: insurers do not refund costs for missed appointments.
Payment
Payments must be made immediately after the treatment via PIN, Tikkie, bank transfer, or within 14 days if an invoice is issued. In case of late payment, The Art of Acupuncture reserves the right to suspend further treatment.
Liability
The therapist is committed to performing the treatment to the best of their knowledge and ability. This is an obligation of means, not a guarantee of results. The Art of Acupuncture is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the patient regarding their medical history or physical condition.
Complaints Procedure
At The Art of Acupuncture, I strive to provide the highest quality of care. However, if you are dissatisfied with a treatment or have a complaint, please discuss it with me first so we can find a solution together. As a member of the NVA, Nederlandse Vereniging voor Acupunctuur, I follow their professional code of conduct and complaints procedure. If we cannot resolve the issue together, you can contact the NVA for a complaints mediator.
Furthermore, in accordance with the Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act, Wkkgz, I am affiliated with the independent dispute body Stichting Zorggeschil. For more information on the procedure, you can visit the NVA complaints page.
